Europcar Bloemfontein, part of the Motus Corporation group, is currently recruiting for a permanent Driver / Cleaner to support daily rental operations. This position is ideal for a responsible and detail-oriented individual with solid driving experience and a strong commitment to vehicle quality, safety, and customer service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all rental vehicles meet Europcar’s high operational and cleanliness standards before and after each rental.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Cleaning and Quality Control

• Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles to meet company quality standards.
• Conduct vehicle quality inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Identify and report expired vehicle licenses or any defects that do not meet required standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the yard and surrounding operational areas.

Vehicle Preparation and Maintenance Checks

• Refuel vehicles after every rental.
• Check tyre pressure and inspect oil, water, and other fluid levels.
• Ensure vehicles are in roadworthy condition before release to customers.

Vehicle Deliveries and Check-Ins

• Deliver vehicles to customers in accordance with company procedures.
• Conduct vehicle check-ins following quality control and claims processes.
• Accurately document vehicle condition and report any damages or discrepancies.

Compliance and Professional Conduct

• Uphold the integrity of the company by behaving ethically at all times.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure the protection of customer property.
• Perform additional duties as required by management to support branch operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Minimum Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (license must be at least 2 years old).
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fully bilingual with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in English.
• Ability to read and interpret maps.

Additional Information

The successful candidate may be required to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as operationally required. Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
