About the Opportunity

The Career Centre Coordinator will be responsible for managing career centre activities, supporting student employability, building industry relationships, coordinating student placements, and improving the overall student experience.

Main Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities

Career Centre Marketing and Events

The Career Centre Coordinator will:

  • Promote Career Centre services to students and alumni
  • Conduct awareness campaigns and workshops
  • Use email, SMS, WhatsApp groups, and student interactions for communication
  • Support student surveys and feedback programmes
  • Host Graduate Employment Workshops and alumni events
  • Upload job opportunities onto the Career Centre platform

Industry Partnerships and Student Placements

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating student workplace placements
  • Liaising with employers and industry partners
  • Monitoring student performance during placements
  • Conducting site visits and placement evaluations
  • Preparing placement progress reports
  • Assisting with resolving placement-related issues

Networking and Job Opportunities

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in:

    • Or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
    • Customer service

    • Customer engagement programmes
