Purpose of the Role
- Deliver high-quality lectures in Web Development
- Support student learning and academic development
- Contribute to academic excellence within the School of Computer Science
- Maintain professional standards in teaching and student engagement
Minimum Requirements
Education
- A 3-year Diploma in:
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
- Computing
- OR a related qualification with web programming to a third-year level
Experience
- Previous lecturing experience in web programming
OR - Industry experience as a:
- Web Developer
- Web Programmer
- Software Developer
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Present lectures for the Web Development module
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons
- Ensure students understand core web programming concepts
- Assess and evaluate student performance
Student Support
- Provide academic guidance and feedback
- Assist students with learning challenges
- Maintain a supportive and professional learning environment
Academic Excellence
- Prepare and update teaching materials
- Ensure alignment with academic standards and curriculum
- Maintain professionalism in all academic activities

Working Conditions
