5. Administration and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate lesson plans, records, and learner portfolios
  • Complete administrative tasks such as attendance registers and reports
  • Submit required documentation timeously
  • Participate in departmental planning and meetings
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures

6. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure learner safety within the classroom and school environment
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • A recognised NQF Level 7 degree (preferably in Education or relevant subject field)
  • PGCE or B.Ed (FET Phase) qualification with subject specialisation
  • SACE registration (mandatory)
  • Police clearance certificate (mandatory)
  • 2–5 years teaching experience in FET phase
  • 2–5 years subject-specific teaching experience (Physical Science, Geography, or related subjects)
  • Computer literacy and ability to use digital teaching tools

Advantageous Requirements

  • Experience in private education or IEB/Cambridge curriculum environments
  • First Aid certification
  • Exposure to digital learning platforms and smart classroom technology
