Role Overview

This position forms part of the Finance and Insurance Management Solutions division of Motus Corporation, supporting a Kia dealership in Diep River.

The role focuses on vehicle finance structuring, insurance product sales, customer financial advisory services, and strict compliance within the automotive retail finance environment.


Core Purpose

To provide professional finance and insurance services to dealership customers, ensuring optimal deal structuring, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maximisation of dealership profitability through value-added financial products.


Key Responsibilities

1. Finance & Insurance Sales

  • Facilitate vehicle finance applications and approvals
  • Sell approved insurance and value-added financial products
  • Maximise second gross profit for the dealership
  • Promote finance and insurance products to customers

2. Customer Financial Advisory

  • Conduct financial needs analysis for customers
  • Provide tailored finance and insurance solutions
  • Educate customers on available products and benefits
  • Improve customer retention through service excellence

3. Deal Structuring & Processing

  • Structure finance deals in line with bank and credit requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of applications
  • Manage administrative processes related to approvals and contracts

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, NCA, CRA, and other regulations
  • Maintain adherence to Financial Services Board (FSB) requirements
  • Operate within dealership policies and legal frameworks
  • Ensure ethical and honest financial conduct

5. Financial Administration

  • Manage finance and insurance debtor’s book
  • Maintain accurate transactional records and reporting
  • Support dealership financial decision-making through reporting
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness

6. Sales Performance

  • Achieve agreed sales and budget targets
  • Increase dealership revenue through finance and insurance products
  • Support dealership profitability objectives
  • Track and improve conversion rates

7. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Provide ongoing support after vehicle purchase
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer queries professionally

8. Continuous Development

  • Stay updated on industry regulations and product changes
  • Maintain CPD (Continuous Professional Development) requirements
  • Improve product knowledge and financial expertise

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Relevant diploma (Credit Management advantageous)
  • Regulatory Exam qualification
  • FAIS accreditation (FSB/FSP registered)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive finance or banking environment
  • Valid driver’s licence
