Core Purpose
To support the Store Leader in managing daily store operations, maximising profitability, leading the team effectively, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience aligned with the Cape Union Mart brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations Management
- Assist in managing all aspects of the store’s daily operations
- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow across all departments
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
- Maintain high operational standards within the store
2. Sales & Profit Maximisation
- Drive store turnover and profitability
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve performance
- Monitor sales trends and take corrective action where necessary
- Support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives
3. Stock Control & Loss Prevention
- Minimise stock losses by identifying and managing risks
- Ensure stock accuracy and proper inventory management
- Implement shrinkage control measures and monitor stock movement
4. Customer Experience Excellence
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective leadership
- Implement customer experience strategies to enhance satisfaction
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Clear criminal record
