Role Overview

To maximise revenue and profitability by delivering exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, and effectively promoting and selling products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Generation & Target Achievement
- Actively engage in sales activities to generate income
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and budgets
- Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on leads
- Apply effective sales and prospecting techniques to grow customer base
2. Customer Service Excellence
- Provide professional, friendly, and customer-focused service
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Ensure a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business
3. Merchandising & Customer Attraction
- Maintain attractive product displays to draw customer attention
- Ensure the store environment is neat, organised, and visually appealing
- Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns
4. Cash & Credit Administration
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately
- Follow company policies and procedures for all financial transactions
- Assist customers with credit applications where required
5. Product Knowledge & Store Support
- Maintain strong knowledge of all product categories
- Stay updated on promotions, pricing, and new stock
- Support overall store operations and team objectives
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 7 – 12 months sales experience (preferably in retail)
