Job Overview
Atlas Finance is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Training Officer to join its Learning and Development team. Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions
- Deliver learning programmes that improve performance and efficiency
- Ensure training content is relevant, practical, and aligned with business goals
Employee Development
- Support onboarding and development of new employees
- Identify and develop potential successors within the organisation
- Provide coaching and guidance to enhance employee skills
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with line managers to identify training needs
- Support managers in building stronger, more capable teams
- Align training initiatives with operational goals
Monitoring & Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes
- Track performance improvements linked to training
- Continuously improve learning methods and outcomes
Travel Requirements
- Travel extensively across KwaZulu-Natal and surrounding areas
- Provide on-site training and support to different branches
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Facilitator or “Train the Trainer” qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Training Officer
- Proven experience in a performance-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable training results
Advantageous Experience
- Experience within the microfinance or financial services industry
- Exposure to sales or target-driven environments
- Experience working with diverse teams across multiple locations
