Role Overview

This position is within a fast-paced FMCG-focused B2B sales environment at Hire Resolve. The Outbound Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and maintaining strong customer relationships across both formal retail and informal trade channels.

The role is highly field-oriented, requiring strong sales discipline, territory management, and consistent achievement of targets.


Core Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this role is to actively generate new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing deals, while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

This role is performance-driven and requires strong resilience, self-management, and the ability to operate independently within a defined territory.


Key Responsibilities

1. Territory Sales Management

You will be responsible for managing a defined sales territory, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring consistent revenue generation within that area.

This includes regular travel to clients and potential customers to maintain relationships and identify new sales opportunities.


2. New Business Development

A major part of the role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities.

You will actively prospect new clients, engage decision-makers, and convert leads into long-term customers through structured sales engagement.


3. Account Management and Retention

You will manage existing customer accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term relationships.

This includes regular client visits, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction to maintain loyalty and revenue stability.


4. Sales Cycle Management

You will manage the full sales cycle, including:

  • Lead generation
  • Product presentations

8. Internal Collaboration

You will work closely with internal teams such as logistics, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of products and support sales growth strategies.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 3–5 years’ sales experience (FMCG or related industry preferred)
  • Experience in field sales, external sales, or territory sales (essential)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own reliable vehicle (essential)

Advantageous Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management
  • Experience working in FMCG distribution or B2B sales environments
