Role Overview
This position forms part of the ARC retail division within Prestige Cosmetics Group, focusing on premium skincare brands including Shiseido and Drunk Elephant.
The role is centered on high-end skincare consultation, customer engagement, and driving retail sales performance in a luxury beauty environment.
Purpose of the Role
To deliver strong sales results while providing expert skincare advice and creating an exceptional client experience that strengthens brand loyalty and supports overall brand image.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance (Counter Targets)
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Track individual and counter performance
- Drive product sales through client engagement and consultation
- Support promotional events and in-store activations
- Provide feedback on sales trends and performance
2. Brand Representation & Management
- Maintain strong brand image through professional presentation and grooming standards
- Ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines
- Monitor competitor activity within the store environment
- Maintain correct stock-to-tester ratios
- Report stock shortages and support replenishment
- Ensure counter hygiene meets luxury brand standards
3. Client Experience & Relationship Building
- Deliver expert skincare consultations and product recommendations
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Increase customer database through new client acquisition
- Reinforce high-end luxury service standards at all times
4. Administration & Reporting
- Complete daily sales tracking sheets
- Submit weekly reports to the Retail Development Manager
- Maintain accurate client records and update client cards
- Ensure timely submission of all required reports
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve overall counter targets
- Support in-store events and promotional activities
- Assist in onboarding and training of new team members
- Maintain strong working relationships with retail partners
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous retail and skincare experience
Advantageous Qualification
- Certificate in Beauty Therapy or Somatology
