Job Overview
Motus Corporation is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Administrator: Bookings to join the Mercedes-Benz Bryanston dealership in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all service bookings, appointments, and scheduling activities within the service department to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service delivery.
This role is central to maintaining smooth communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians while ensuring accurate booking administration and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Booking Management & Scheduling
- Handle customer enquiries and schedule service appointments professionally and timeously
- Coordinate booking schedules between customers, service advisors, and technicians
- Ensure efficient allocation of workshop time slots and resources
- Manage rescheduling and cancellation requests effectively
Customer Communication
- Provide customers with accurate updates regarding vehicle service progress
- Communicate additional service requirements where necessary
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused communication approach at all times
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking records on internal systems
- Capture and update all appointment data in the dealership database
- Assist with tracking service department performance metrics
- Provide general administrative support to the service department
Operational Support
- Support service advisors in daily operational coordination
- Assist in ensuring timely completion of scheduled work
- Contribute to improving booking efficiency and customer satisfaction levels
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous administrative experience (preferably in automotive or customer service environment)
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office and database systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
